Inventory reflects a combination of planned production and surplus from active ecological restoration projects, with updates made regularly as availability changes.
Availability & Timing
Plant material becomes available at different times throughout the season depending on crop type and readiness:
- Seed mixes may be ordered year-round and store well in a cool, dry environment prior to planting. Seeding is typically best in late fall for optimal establishment, though timing can be adjusted based on project goals and site conditions. For more details, please refer to our Seeding Application Guide.
- Potted stock is typically available starting in late April to early May, aligned with when conditions are suitable for planting.
- Wirebasket (B&B) trees are available based on when they can be safely lifted from the field, which is dependent on soil and weather conditions. While this is outside of nursery control, we plan and coordinate lifting to align with project timelines wherever possible.
Availability is seasonal and influenced by weather, crop cycles, and field conditions.
If your order includes a mix of product types, fulfillment timing will be coordinated based on when all items are ready, unless otherwise requested.
Order Processing
Orders are reviewed and confirmed in the sequence they are received. Due to high demand and limited availability, we recommend placing orders early to secure stock.
Availability is limited and often tied to active restoration projects, with surplus inventory released as project commitments are fulfilled. Additional inventory may be added throughout the season as project needs evolve.
In some cases, species or sizes may become unavailable due to project allocation or crop variability. Where appropriate, we may suggest comparable substitutions (e.g., same genus or ecological function) for approval prior to fulfillment.
Delivery & Pickup
- Pickup is available from our St. Williams location, with scheduling coordinated once your order is confirmed.
- Delivery may be available depending on order size and location. If you require delivery, please request a quote and we will provide options based on logistics and timing.
Please note:
- Larger orders are prioritized when scheduling delivery routes
- Smaller orders may have more limited delivery windows or be better suited for pickup
Orders must be picked up within the scheduled window. Due to space and plant health considerations, we cannot guarantee holding material beyond confirmed pickup dates.
Responsibility for plant material transfers upon pickup or delivery. Proper transport and handling are required to maintain plant health.
Minimum Orders
As our primary focus is supporting large-scale ecological restoration projects, minimum order values apply for online purchases. This allows us to operate efficiently while maintaining production capacity for contract work.
Quality Guarantee
We take pride in supplying high-quality, true-to-name plant material.
If there are any concerns regarding species accuracy or plant quality:
- Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of receipt
- Photo documentation is required
- Stock must be properly handled and transported upon pickup or delivery
Approved claims may be eligible for a refund or credit, however:
- Transportation costs are non-refundable
As living material, plant performance is influenced by site conditions, installation, and aftercare. We cannot guarantee survival after planting.
Orders, Changes & Deposits
Changes or cancellations must be requested as early as possible. Once an order is confirmed, staged, or reserved, modifications may not be possible.
For larger orders, we may request a partial deposit to reserve stock and confirm your order within our production and allocation schedule. Full payment terms will be outlined at time of order confirmation.
Retail Ordering
Our current focus is supporting large-scale restoration and wholesale projects, and retail ordering is not available at this time.
As availability allows, we look forward to offering pop-up retail sales.
